A New Year in 2024: I Smell an Adventure!


My wish for all of you in the New Year:

·      A year of loving and being loved

·      A year of wonder and joy

·      A year of friendships and family

·      A year of learning

·      A year of finding your spiritual center

My goals for myself are still taking shape.

I plan to have an open heart for each encounter during my day.

I plan to give each person full attention, without judgement, only seeing their potential as spiritual travelers in this world learning each day a little more about how to give and receive love.

I shall seek my calm center any time I feel myself losing my inner balance.

I shall see each problem, or unknown or strange event as a gift.  I will ask three questions of myself.  What can I give to this?  What can I learn from this? 

I shall see this life as a spiritual adventure.  I shall ask , “Why has this come into my life?”  Not in a whiney way, but in an expectant way.  As one friend said, “I smell and adventure!”

Jumpers, by Katherine O'Dell.  Waking up in yet another new body only to discover that the woman was murdered.  How can she do her job with a young son and a murderous husband complicating an already complicated process?  And where is the rest of the team?
